The perfect compliment to your special event.
Sound Engineers - Early Set Up
We arrive approximately 3 hours before the start time to ensure we are ready before your guests arrive. We are meticulous about our sound and stage appearance. We will not disturb any of your guests through cocktail hour and most of all, dinner. There will be a live microphone on stage at all times for any special requests.
Complete Emcee Services
We offer complete emcee services at no extra charge to you. We will be more than happy to introduce your bridal parties entrance. We will work with you to ensure the correct pronunciations are made of friends and family members and will offer you a complete outline of your bridal party. In addition to handling all your special announcements, we will keep the event's agenda flowing smoothly.
Continuous Music
By arriving early for a picture perfect set up, we will provide non stop music by playing CDs during the cocktail hour, dinner and our two breaks. We have a wide variety of musical CDs to satisfy any style of music that you would like to hear. Our goal is to create a soothing atmosphere when your guests arrive, a relaxing atmosphere through the course of dinner and to keep the Dance Floor filled at all times during our two fifteen minute breaks.
Professional Appearance
All members of The Park Avenue Orchestra will be in professional apparel. The men wear black tuxedos with a variety of cummerbunds to match the decor of the event. The females wear designer wear. Together we create a high style of profile. Matching casual wear is available. Our overall appearance is enhanced by Musical stage fronts with our name Park Avenue Orchestra on them.
Variety of Music
We perform what our clients want to hear. The Orchestra plays all styles of music which includes Pop, Rock, R&B, Big Orchestra, Contemporary Dance Mix and Country. We are extremely versatile. Our goal is to reach out to all ages to achieve a stellar performance. We feel with this approach we can be a wonderful success to each and every event.
Song list
Our published song list will be sent to you one month prior to your special event. We will ask you to choose 40 songs to be performed. We will also ask you to choose songs you do not want us to play. If a song is not on our list, please ask us. Our repertoire is very extensive. Enclosed with the song list you will receive an outline to fill out. It consists of your first dance, bridal party dance, and special requests. If a song does not appear on our list, please allow the Orchestra two months to learn the material. We will also take requests from your guest providing they are consistent with your desires and appropriate for your event.
Musicians
All the musicians in the Orchestra are true professionals in the art of music. They give outstanding performances with a high energy level and tremendous talent to captivate each and every event. They are professionally educated and many of them are private instructors at schools and universities. They are dedicated and confident to make your event a success with their impressive achievements to their credit.
Four Piece Horn Section
We have a variety of full professional musical arrangements featuring our Four Horn Players. They play a wide variety of brass and woodwind instruments which includes trumpet, trombone tenor sax, alto sax, flute and clarinet. Together their talent and enthusiasm combine to make up one of the hottest horn sections in Chicago. All our horn charts are written by our trombonist – Mr. Chuck Sloka.
