The Park Avenue Orchestra - Rhythm Section

Hank Paul is the Leader and Guitar Player for the Park Avenue Orchestra. He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He began studying music in grammar school and chooses the guitar to feature his musical talents. He has been playing the guitar for thirty years and has performed over 1500 engagements in the Chicago land Area. He enjoys playing a variety of guitars for different styles of music including Rock, R&B, and Jazz. Some of his favorite guitar players are Larry Carlton, Carlos Santana and Eric Clapton. He studied in the Fine Arts Building in Downtown Chicago with Frank Rumorro. He will never relinquish his love for music.

Chris Ray is the Bass Player for the Park Avenue Orchestra. Chris has a Bachelor Degree from the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. He is a currently teaching bass guitar at the
College of Lake County and McHenry College. He has toured and recorded throughout the United States with major artists. He plays the Electric and String Bass. Chris is actively pursuing his masters degree at De Paul University. Chris has performed with the Park Avenue Orchestra for over Twenty Years.

Rich Jurevich is the Keyboard Player for the Park Avenue Orchestra. He is the Director of Music at the Divine Providence Parish in Westchester, Illinois. Rich has studied the keyboards for over thirty years. He performs a variety of musical categories. Pop, Rock, Classical and Jazz are his specialties. Rich has performed at the Taste of Chicago, and the 2004 National Convention of Pastoral Musicians. Rich holds a degree in Jazz Studies from De Paul University. He is currently working on a solo CD that will be released this fall.

Brian is the Drummer for the Park Avenue Orchestra. He studied music and business at Quincy College. Brian has performed on separate occasions with Dizzy Gillespie, Louie Bellson and Jake Jerger. He was the principal percussionist and timpanist with the Quincy Symphony Orchestra. Brian studied with Roy Knapp. Brian plays various musical styles including Rock, New Wave, Big Band Swing Jazz, Orchestral Ethic and Show Productions.

Kevin performs many of the Wedding Ceremonies for the Park Avenue Orchestra. Kevin is a 1982 Graduate of DePaul University with a B/A in Music Theory. His experience is unsurpassed as a versatile piano player. He has performed with various artist; Aretha Franklin, The Buckinghams, Bruce Hornsby and the Temptations to name a few. He was also a member of Jonathan Brandmeier's (WGN Radio DJ) Band; Johnny & The Leisure Suites. Kevin has significant recording and commercial experience for companies that include Budweiser, Empress Casino and Dairy Queen. He is currently recording a solo CD due for release later this year.
